Bordeaux Olive Matte

A sturdy serving plate in earthen shades of olive green and brown, fashioned from an upcycled Bordeaux bottle, which has been collected locally from our community, minimizing the impact on the environment. This beautiful bottle has been transformed using warm glass techniques allowing the centre to fuse together while retaining the characteristics distinctive to a bottle. The lip and cylindrical neck remain open, while its forward tilting heel retains its texture. The matte finish gives the bottle a smooth, consistent, satin finish as opposed to a high gloss finish. This exceptionally sturdy plate can hold about as much as a small rectangular plate, making it ideal for serving fruits and cheeses in an unconventional manner. The rounded neck of the bottle and the upward curving punt allow it to be easily picked up and transported. This reborn bottle is sure to add a great measure of flair to your home. Dishwasher safe.
