Bocksbeutel Magnum

A platter re-fashioned from a flattened, ellipsoid shaped, magnum in natural shades of mahogany brown with a satin matte finish. This Bocksbeutel, typically used for Franconian wines in Germany, has been transformed using warm glass techniques allowing the centre to fuse together while retaining the characteristics distinctive to a bottle. The lip and cylindrical neck remain open, while its forward tilting heel retains its texture. The raised rim confines the contents of the plate to the middle impeding them from spilling, while the ergonomic shape of the neck allows for easy transport. This unique, handled, glass plate, which holds about as much as a typical large plate, makes an elegant presentation on any table and is well suited for serving a variety of different foods. Every upcycled bottle, has been rescued locally from our community and lovingly transformed making every single piece an exclusive singleton. Dishwasher safe. Drain thoroughly and allow to dry before storing.
